2021

Guest Artist -  Thomas McClary

Simply put, Thomas McClary is an icon. Graduate of Eustis High School, he became the founder of the legendary band, The Commodores. McClary is an unmatched trailblazer in creating one of the signature sounds that define the Golden Age of modern music -- a sound that has brought millions of people classic hits like "Brickhouse", "Three Times A Lady", and one of the most world-renowned guitar solos on "Easy".

2020

Guest Artist - The year of the 2020 Jazz Revue was canceled because of COVID-19.

We had planned a special performance from Eustis Alumni Jazz Ensemble, featuring former students from the Eustis High School Jazz Ensemble.

2019 

Guest Artist - Per Danielsson, UCF

Jazz pianist, composer, arranger, writer and educator, Per Danielsson is a native of Stockholm, Sweden.  

After formal piano studies in Sweden, his love of jazz brought him across the ocean to attend the internationally acclaimed North Texas State University.

Guest Artist - James Hogan, UNF

James Hogan is known by many as a "world class" guitarist. He is an artist who is regarded highly by his peers and is in constant demand as a touring sideman, studio musician and producer. Hogan has gained world wide recognition for his musicality, soulfulness and rare ability to play authentically at the highest level in all styles of contemporary music.

Guest Artist - Bianca Jade

Bianca Jade is a singer-songwriter of Cuban and Jamaican descent, born in Miami, Florida. Bianca graduated valedictorian of her high school where she majored in vocal music and jazz studies. She then went on to study and graduate as a vocal music/music education major at Miami Dade College.

2016

Guest Artist - Dr. Clarence Hines, UNF

Clarence Hines, an Associate Professor of Jazz Studies in the Department of Music, earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music. His primary areas of teaching and scholarship include jazz trombone performance, jazz composition, and jazz arranging.

2015

Guest Artist - Jeff Rupert, UCF

Jeff Rupert is a  Trustee Chair, Pegasus Professor, and Director of Jazz Studies at UCF. He is a saxophonist, composer, record producer, and recording artist.

2014

Guest Artist - Scott Wilson, UF

Trumpeter Scott Wilson has established himself as one of the rising stars of jazz – both as a performer and as a pedagogue. Since earning two masters degrees from the University of North Texas and paying his dues on concert stages from Orlando to Osaka, Scott is in constant demand as a player, composer and educator.

2013

Guest Artist - Chuck Archard, Rollins College

Chuck Archard has been playing the electric bass guitar since the early 1970s. He holds BME and MM degrees from Morehead State University and is currently an Artist in Residence.

2012

Guest Artist - David Steinmeyer, UNF

Dave Steinmeyer, trombone, spent 28 years as a musician in the United States Air Force, with 24 of those years playing lead trombone with the world famous Airmen of Note (the big band started by Glenn Miller) and the last 10 years of his tenure as the “Note’s” director.
