Chaperone Requirements

In order to Chaperone an event, you have to have Level 2 Security Clearance through the Lake County School Board. If you are a teacher at a Lake County School, you should already have clearance.  

Each step does not take much time to complete, but it does take some time between steps, so we recommend starting the process if you are at all interested in chaperoning.

This clearance is good for three years. 

How to Apply for Level 2 Clearance

  1. Apply on the Lake County Schools Online Volunteer Application Portal

  2. Download, print, and fill out the FDLE Waiver Form, then deliver to Mr. Zimmerman at EHS

  3. Get fingerprinted through the Lake County School Board Office in Tavares (Once you complete Step One, you should receive an email from the LCSB with information on how to make your appointment)

  4. Email us at to let the EHS Band team you have begun the Level 2 Clearance process
